"Looking back I realize that my Nanny passed on her love of crafting and baking to me at a young age.  My earliest memories are of her pulling up a chair to the kitchen counter so I could watch her bake.  I remember being so fascinated by what she was doing and wanting to learn as much as I could.  She lovingly replied to every question I could think of along the way."
 
Nancy has dabbled in many artistic mediums including sculpting and painting throughout the years until she discovered her passion for cakes and sugar art.  It combines her nostalgic love of "from-scratch" baking with the artistic freedom she craves.  Transforming a few luscious ingredients into a work of art is not just cake, but a memorable way to celebrate your special day!
 
Nancy's ever-growing thirst for knowledge has never been quenched.  She travels extensively to take classes from internationally renowned sugar artist such as Geraldine Randlesome and Nicholas Lodge.  She keeps current with the latest trends on-line and through every book and magazine she can find.  Nancy imports tools and equipment from around the world in order to learn the latest techniques.
 
Kelly Creations takes pride in baking everything from scratch to order, with fresh quality ingredients.  For example pure Madagascar bourbon vanilla, sweet butter, Belgian chocolate, pure fruit purees and real extracts.  We do not use cake mixes, artificial ingredients and never freeze our cakes.  We are a proud member of http://bakedfromscratch.blogspot.com/   It is imperative that our creations taste as good as they look.
